Description:

Purpose:In this project, the researchers evaluated the effectiveness of the preschool intervention, Early Literacy and Learning Model (ELLM), on literacy achievement of children from low-income families during preschool and their subsequent achievement in kindergarten and first grade. This research aimed to explore the relationship between child, teacher, and instructional environment characteristics and the impact of ELLM teacher support infrastructure on preschool teachers' classroom practices, efficacy, retention rates, and job satisfaction.
