This project is a collaborative effort of eight regional educational laboratories to address a goal of the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) Native Education Network. The REL collaborative will present data that permits readers to gauge the degree to which an achievement gap exists between Natives and their non-Native peers. If that gap is found to exist, the REL collaborative will assess the patterns (in terms of the direction of change) in each of 22 states. The REL-SE will report the data from North Carolina and Florida.
