Director, REL Midwest Named director in 2008, Dr. Dawson previously served as REL Midwest deputy director, overseeing the development and delivery of large–scale randomized controlled trials and short–term research projects. His areas of expertise include quantitative research design, educational technology, and survey and assessment development. Before assuming his REL Midwest responsibilities, Dr. Dawson was a senior researcher focused on the development of cognitive assessments of the technology literacy of students, teachers, and administrators. In addition, he led research projects investigating the use of technology to inform teacher practice and improve student achievement. Dr. Dawson holds degrees from Yale University, University of Georgia, and The Ohio State University. He has been with Learning Point Associates since 2002.
