Jill E. Weber

Jill Weber is a Senior Project Director in the Division for Applied Research and Innovation at EDC. She has over fifteen years of experience working directly to support educational leaders at the SEA and LEA level – as a practitioner and professional development and TA provider. Weber has worked across a wide range of educational areas, including work with educational technology initiatives, online learning, policy development and analysis, curriculum development and assessment and accountability. In addition to her Director role in REL-NEI, she a member of the New York Comprehensive Center’s Senior Management Team and team leader for the eLearning initiative. Previously, Weber was the Director for the Northeast and Islands Regional Technology in Education Consortium (NEIRTEC).

Weber’s primary responsibilities in REL–NEI exist in three areas – contractual compliance, overall management of all work areas, and coordination of the work of the REL as it serves the region and relates to the National Lab Network. Her focus spans the range of work from needs analysis, to responsiveness to state needs, to supporting the measurement of impact and effectiveness.

Weber holds an M.Ed. in Technology Integration from Harvard University, an M.B.A from the University of Dayton–Ohio, and a B.S. with a science concentration in K–8 education from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
