Dr. Vicki Dimock
Vicki Dimock is SEDL's Chief Program Officer. In this role, Dr. Dimock coordinates and directs SEDL's programmatic efforts to build capacity to use evidence-based policies, programs, and practices to address compelling educational needs. Dr. Dimock has more than 30 years of experience working with educators to improve educational experiences and outcomes for children and youth. Prior to her current position, she served as program director for the Improving School Performance Program at SEDL, which builds capacity at the state, district, and school levels to improve educational outcomes. She also applied her research, development, and dissemination skills as program manager of the Science, Technology, and Mathematics Program at SEDL, which assists educational entities in improving mathematics and science education and in implementing technology to support improved teaching and learning outcomes for students.
Dr. Dimock holds a BS in education from Midwestern State University, an MEd in educational administration from Texas Woman's University, and a PhD in curriculum and instruction from the University of Texas at Austin.
