No studies of
Accelerated Math meet What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) evidence standards, and three studies meet WWC evidence standards with reservations. These three studies, which included approximately 2,200 middle school students in grades 6–8, compared standardized test scores of students who used
Accelerated Math with those of students who used traditional curricula.
Based on these three studies, the WWC considers the extent of evidence for Accelerated Math to be medium to large for math achievement.
