The Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) was created in 1979 to improve public policy and management by fostering excellence in research, analysis, and education. APPAM provides a venue for disseminating research on public policy and management through its multidisciplinary annual research conference and peer-reviewed journal.
The annual Fall Research Conference, structured around the theme The Role of Research in Making Government More Effective, will provide an opportunity for policy makers and other practitioners to engage in collaborative interactions and exchanges about how to improve policy and governance.
