The National Center for Education Research (NCER) supports rigorous research that contributes to the solution of significant education problems in the United States.

NCER is now releasing the FY 2009 Request for Applications (84.305A and 84.305B) for its research and training programs. NCER is also releasing the FY 2009 Request for Applications for two new research programs: Statistical and Research Methodology in Education (84.305D) and Evaluation of State and Local Education Programs and Policies (84.305E).
