Request for Applications

In this announcement, the Institute of Education Sciences (Institute) invites applications for research projects that will contribute to its research program in Evaluation of State and Local Education Programs and Policies. For the FY 2009 competition, the Institute will consider only applications that meet the requirements outlined below under Evaluation of State and Local Education Programs and Policies and Requirements for the Proposed Research.

Separate announcements are available on the Institute's website that pertain to the other research and research training grant programs funded through the National Center for Education Research and to the discretionary grant competitions funded through the Institute's National Center for Special Education Research (http://ies.ed.gov/).
