Description: The Urban School Improvement Alliance hosts this Bridge Webinar to discuss the theoretical and empirical research on organizational learning and districtwide improvement. For the past twenty years, featured presenter Dr. Kara S. Finnigan at the University of Rochester has studied school systems across the country and published extensively on school and district improvement, with a particular focus on accountability polices and urban and low-performing schools. She will present an overview of research on using data to improve school and district performance, to be followed by a response from a member of the alliance.
Audience: The target audience includes District and school leaders throughout the Northeast and Islands Region and the US.
