Description: This webinar, hosted by the English Language Learners Alliance (ELLA), presents an empirical approach to examining achievement among English learners using district-level growth data from the ACCESS for ELLs assessment and other public sources. H. Gary Cook and Narek Sakhayan, from the WIDA Consortium at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research, will discuss their analysis and how they identified “high-flying” and “low-cruising” districts, as well as patterns based on demographic factors and academic outcomes.
