The Cooperative System Fellows Program
Activities
The Fellows take part in a series of planned activities including presentations by NCES staff on some of the Center's major data collections, such as the Schools and Staffing Survey (SASS), National Educational Longitudinal Study (NELS), and Common Core of Data (CCD). Other staff report on dissemination practices, projects to automate local, state and higher education data systems, and efforts to integrate existing data collections. In addition, time is set aside for the Fellows to explore their own professional interests and objectives. During their week at NCES, mentors selected from the Center's staff work with the Fellows to lead discussions on various topics, answer questions, offer guidance and advice, and help them achieve their individual program objectives.
