Alternative Teacher Certification Forum Highlights Rigorous Research

Educators and researchers gathered in Washington September 16 for a day-long invitational conference on alternative teacher certification. Hosted by Learning Point Associates and supported by IES, the conference took up such matters as the number and range of alternative certification models, research into the effectiveness of alternative approaches, and the retention rates of teachers who enter the profession via alternative routes. » read more
