About

Matt Eide leads training, coaching, and technical support (Task 4) for REL Northwest. Dr. Eide has over two decades of experience in K–12 education as a teacher, district and school administrator, youth development specialist, and technical support provider.

He has worked in the Northwest region for 15 years, developing and leading a variety of technical assistance projects focused on school improvement, American Indian/Alaska Native children, rural education, and alternative education.

Eide earned an EdD in educational leadership from the University of Oregon.

About REL Northwest

Regional Educational Lab (REL) Northwest partners with key stakeholders in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington to develop evidence that can inform consequential decisions about policy, programs, and practice. Key stakeholders include organizations with decision-making authority and the ability to influence education policy and practice, such as state and local education agencies, school boards, institutes of higher education, and student, family, and community organizations.
