About

Mike Siebersma leads partnership development and maintenance (Task 3) for REL Northwest. Previously, Siebersma was director of the Northwest Comprehensive Center, working with state education agencies to provide technical assistance.

He also led projects for REL Central, including training in Nebraska using What Works Clearinghouse evidence-based strategies for reading instruction and technical support to identify implications of research on teacher retention and mobility.

Siebersma earned an MEd in leadership in schools at the University of Sioux Falls.

About REL Northwest

Regional Educational Lab (REL) Northwest partners with key stakeholders in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington to develop evidence that can inform consequential decisions about policy, programs, and practice. Key stakeholders include organizations with decision-making authority and the ability to influence education policy and practice, such as state and local education agencies, school boards, institutes of higher education, and student, family, and community organizations.
