The purpose of this project is to provide a first-of-its-kind accounting of the variety of special education staffing profiles employed across Oregon public schools, a detailed assessment of students with disabilities’ (SWDs) curricular integration during middle and high schools, and an evaluation of how these education systems factors relate to SWDs’ long-term college, career, and transition to adulthood pathways.

The Michigan State University (MSU) Predoctoral Interdisciplinary Research Training Program in the Education Sciences provided a doctoral specialization in the economics of education and aimed to prepare fellows in the use of quantitative methods from the field of economics to answer education questions.
