Enhancing Utah’s State Longitudinal Data System to Manage Transactional Data Moments: BRIDGE and USBE Infrastructure
The Utah State Office of Education (USOE) and the Utah Data Research Center (URDC) express an interest in participating in the Institute of Education Sciences’ Statewide Longitudinal Data Systems (SLDS) grant (ALN Number 84.372A). The priority upon which USOE and UDRC intend to focus is infrastructure and interoperability.

The Utah State Office of Education (USOE) expresses an interest in participating in the Institute of Education Sciences’ Statewide Longitudinal Data Systems grant (CFDA Number 84.372A). The two priorities upon which USOE intends to focus are College and Career, and Evaluation and Research.

Utah Student Records Exchange
For the past two school years, Utah has had a fully functioning statewide longitudinal data system (SLDS) employing the eight key components prescribed by Institute of Education Sciences' (IES) National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). The system has also fulfilled nine of ten data quality components specified by the Data Quality Campaign jointly sponsored by the Council of Chief State School Officials (CCSSO).
