REL Midwest is currently working with partners in Michigan on additional projects to address state and local educational priorities.
Current Projects
REL Midwest is partnering with the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) to develop a plan to evaluate the implementation of recent legislation that provides Michigan districts with funding to adopt evidence-based early literacy instruction and materials. REL Midwest and the MDE are codeveloping a logic model, research questions to guide the evaluation, data collection protocols, and analytic strategies to answer the research questions. By the end of the project, MDE will have a comprehensive plan it can use to evaluate the program implementation and provide ongoing, formative feedback to support continuous improvement.
