To complete and submit an FY 2018 application, you need to review the Request for Applications and download and complete the Application Package for the relevant competition.

The Requests for Applications describe the substantive requirements for research and research training applications, as well as provide information on how to prepare and submit applications electronically through Grants.gov.

FY 2018 Grants.Gov Application Packages
Application Packages provide all of the forms that you must complete and submit to apply for the funding opportunities listed on this page.
- Application Packages for all competitions with an August 17th deadline will be available on http://www.grants.gov/ by June 22, 2017 (84.305A, 84.324A, 84.324B, 84.305H).
- Application Packages for all competitions with a September 21st deadline will be available by July 13, 2017 (84.305C, 84.324N).
- Applications Packages for the competitions with two deadlines (84.305L and 84.24L) will be available at different times: June 22, 2017 (84.305L-1 & 84.324L-1) and January 11, 2018 (84.305L-2 & 84.324L-2).
- Application Packages with an April 5th deadline will be available by February 15, 2018.
To find the correct downloadable Application Package, you must first search by the CFDA number for your Request for Applications without the alpha suffix. Use 84.305 for RFAs associated with Education Research programs. Use 84.324 for RFAs associated with Special Education Research and Research Training in Special Education programs. The search will yield more than one package. Select the package for the competition and deadline to which you are applying. See the relevant Request for Applications for further details.
