Description: | Purpose: This project will conduct a survey and content analysis to determine the status of state policies on multicultural teacher education in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. These data will be combined with the 2003, the 1998 and the 1996 NAEP 4th and 8th grade reading and mathematics data to examine the level and impact of teacher training/preparation for teaching racially/ethnically diverse students on student outcomes. |
