IES Research Funding Resources & Technical Assistance

The Institute of Education Sciences is providing online resources for those interested in FY 2023 funding opportunities. These resources will be posted on a rolling basis. The archived 2022 webinars are available online for reference purposes.

If you have specific questions for IES program officers, we suggest attending Virtual Office hours. For the virtual office hours schedule, visit the Virtual Office Hours webpage. For information on specific FY 2023 competitions, visit the IES funding opportunities website.

The IES-funded Cost Analysis in Practice Project provides free, on-demand tools, guidance, and technical assistance to researchers and practitioners who are planning or conducting economic evaluations for IES-funded work and/or to inform the delivery of education to students in the United States. Contact the CAP Help Desk to submit inquiries about conducting cost analysis, cost-feasibility analysis, or cost-effectiveness analysis of educational programs and practices in the U.S. You will be connected with a member of the CAP Project Team within two business days. Any information shared by requesters with the CAP Project Help Desk will be treated as strictly confidential. Additional resources are available on the Inside IES Research blog and on the SEER Standards page.
