DESCRIPTION:This webinar explored opportunities and challenges in engaging 
 Micronesian migrant families in their students' education and approaches t
 o strengthening collaborations among families\, schools\, and community pa
 rtners. Participants heard from a national expert on family engagement\, a
 longside a panel of Hawai'i-based partners who were focused on supporting 
 Micronesian students in Hawai'i schools. Webinar panelists and participant
 s examined research-based promising practices for effective family engagem
 ent through the lens of multiculturalism and considered recommendations fo
 r future work in this area.
