DESCRIPTION:Regional Educational Laboratory Appalachia partnered with the N
 iswonger Foundation and ten school districts in northeastern Tennessee to 
 support students’ preparation for college and careers. To improve readin
 ess outcomes and build educators’ capacity to support students’ learni
 ng toward these objectives\, the partnership initiated the Data-to-Improve
  project. The project’s goal was to enable districts to use data to stre
 ngthen college and career readiness through improved programs\, policies\,
  and practices.The collaboration resulted in a co-designed set of training
  materials that have been made generalizable for local education leaders i
 nterested in building district capacity to use data to enhance college-and
  career-readiness preparation in their own communities. The training mater
 ials are organized into four sessions that include the following topics: d
 eveloping a logic model for college and career programming\, identifying a
 nd prioritizing research questions\, using multiple types of data and data
  analyses to answer key questions\, and communicating action steps with a
