SUMMARY:Advancing College and Career Readiness: Lessons from School and Dis
trict Implementation of Individual Plans of Study in Kansas
DESCRIPTION:How can schools set students up for continued success after hig
h school? Whether students pursue college\, careers\, or workforce trainin
g\, they need opportunities to explore their interests\, connect learning
to future goals\, and make informed decisions about their futures. Individ
ual Plans of Study (IPS) provide a personalized framework that helps stude
nts identify their strengths\, interests\, and aspirations while building
the knowledge\, skills\, and experiences needed for postsecondary and care
er success.Join school practitioners\, state education agency staff\, and
researchers for a roundtable discussion to explore how Kansas schools and
districts are implementing IPS to prepare their grade 8–12 students for
life after high school. Panelists will share insights that can be used by
districts and states across the country to support students to be prepared
  beyond high school.
