About this event
The National Center for Education Statistics is mandated to report to Congress and the President on the condition of education by June 1 of each year. The Condition of Education 2012 summarizes important developments and trends in education using the latest available data. The 2012 report presents the status and condition of education in the United States.
The 2012 edition includes indicators in three main areas:
* participation in education;
* elementary and secondary educaiton;
* postsecondary education
plus a closer look at high schools in the United States over the past twenty years.
The NCES Commissioner, Jack Buckley, will present the report's highlights in an online WebEx event.
