About this event

With support from a grant from the National Center for Education Research (NCER) in the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education, Michigan State University and Northwestern University will be conducting the 2014 Research Design Workshop for Faculty from Minority-Serving Institutions. The purpose of the Workshop is to provide an overview of quantitative education research design and introduce faculty from minority-serving institutions to the IES research community and its research culture. The long term goal of the Workshop is to increase the capacity of researchers from minority-serving institutions to develop and conduct rigorous evaluations of the impact of education interventions.
