REL Northwest will join the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development (AK DEED) at the Alaska School Safety & Well-Being Summit to present on trauma-engaged schools (TES) initiatives within the state. In this breakout session, REL Northwest will review their recent work with AK DEED to develop a TES survey tool and administration plan. Viewing the results of the survey tool pilot, REL Northwest and AK DEED will lead a discussion on TES practices and policies, strengths and opportunities for growth, and resources to support trauma-engaged practices within the state.
