Description: Presenters will discuss three initiatives to collect data from educator preparation program completers: (1) REL Central support for the development of a statewide program completer survey; (2) surveys developed as part of the NExT Common Metrics project, a collaborative effort among representatives of multiple educator preparation programs to develop common surveys; and (3) the use of program completer focus groups in a Kansas educator preparation program.

Audience: The primary audiences are administrators and faculty members from educator preparation programs and representatives of state agencies with oversight for educator preparation. Attendees will include individuals who collect and use data to monitor the implementation and effectiveness of educator preparation programs.
