Description: Participants will acquire specific information on the importance of providing intentional, explicit and intensive vocabulary and language instruction. They will acquire skills in delivering DR effectively with small groups of children, including how to differentiate instruction for children with distinct skill profiles, and at selecting appropriate reading materials for DR. Participants will have opportunities for structured small group activities, question and answer sessions with presenters, and peer group discussions to reinforce the content.
