Facilitators of this interactive session will overview the Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Southeast Improving Adolescent Literacy infographic which addresses integrating evidence-based literacy practices into content area instruction in grades 4-12. The infographic is based on the recommendations of the Improving Adolescent Literacy: Effective Classroom and Intervention practices practice guide. The facilitators will model some of these practices, and participants will have an opportunity to engage in activities during the session. The session will focus on how literacy coaches and lead teachers can support content teachers as they integrate literacy into their courses.
