Interpreting Student Learning in the Early Childhood Setting: Colorado's Model to Support Educators and Their Evaluators

Description: You are invited to attend this interactive session at the National Association for the Education of Young Children's Professional Learning Institute. Participants will explore a supplemental evaluation guide, Practical Ideas for Early Childhood Evaluation, which can be used to support the professional growth of early childhood educators. They will learn how the strategies presented in the guide can be applied to a variety of contexts to support the development of early childhood educators and their evaluators. They will then apply the learnings to example vignettes of early childhood classrooms and discuss how they might use student learning to identify areas of growth for early childhood educators.
