In this roundtable discussion at the Culturally Responsive Evaluation and Assessment (CREA) 7th International Conference, REL Pacific will discuss the importance of developing and disseminating research findings in a culturally sustaining and contextually appropriate manner that invites and empowers stakeholders to engage with the information in a meaningful, actionable way. A culturally responsive and equitable research and evaluation approach includes a focus on thoughtful dissemination planning, including the use of stakeholder reviewers to help ensure readability, maximize understanding of key findings and applicability of recommendations, and expand dissemination of findings. During the session, facilitators will also share how REL Pacific often uses infographics, in addition to reports and briefs, to support accurate interpretation of complex research and evaluation findings and prompt productive discussions among stakeholders about what the data might mean for their community, possible decisions, and next steps they wish to take to enact and sustain positive change.
