For the the 2023 Washington Educational Research Association (WERA) conference, REL Northwest identified an expert to speak on artificial intelligence (AI) in education. Mingyu Feng, Research Director of Learning and Technology at WestEd, will join a panel for the session "Navigating the Future: Exploring the Pros and Cons of AI in K-12 Education" to share share research on the pros and cons of incorporating AI into school settings. REL Northwest will also share a handout about AI education during the event.
