The Oregon Graduation and Postsecondary Success Alliance is a partnership between practitioners and researchers working to increase high school graduation and postsecondary education completion rates for all Oregon students.
At our 2021 convening, alliance members will learn about research findings from two recently released studies on the impact of early indicator and intervention systems in Oregon and the Oregon Promise financial aid program. The studies respond to Oregon's research priorities of understanding the effect of high-priority initiatives and state investments on student outcomes.
After the study briefings, participants can select from four breakout sessions. The sessions will include discussions of the use of data and evidence in their own contexts to inform policy and practice, close opportunity gaps, and help ensure historically underserved students have the necessary resources, systems, and practices in place to achieve their educational and career goals.
