REL Northwest Event: Improving Early Childhood Education Outcomes

Time: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. PDT

Location: Northwest Regional Education Service District Office, 5825 NE Ray Circle, Hillsboro, Oregon

Description: This face-to-face event will explore the research on teacher-student interactions that promote improved social and academic outcomes for children in early childhood education programs. Participants will also discuss how policy-practice partnerships can promote quality early childhood education in Oregon.

Research Alliance: This event is open to all who are interested in the topic in Oregon. It is aligned with REL Northwest's Early Childhood Education Working Group.

Audience: This event is designed for teachers and administrators in schools and programs serving children from preschool to grade 1. The event will also appeal to early childhood education organization representatives, higher education faculty, and state education agency staff.
