Location: Florida Literacy Conference Orlando Marriott Lake Mary 1501 International Parkway, Lake Mary, FL 32746

Description: This conference session will provide an overview of evidence-based literacy strategies for adults. Participants will receive an overview and discuss the areas shown from the research to be important to the implementation of adult literacy interventions. Participants will reflect upon their experience and discuss application of the strategies in their adult education settings.

Partnership or Research Alliance: Florida Career Readiness Research Alliance

Audience: The primary participants for this project are adult educators and administrators in adult education sites including both educators at correctional institutions and adult educators employed at school district offices or state colleges.
