Description: This REL Southwest training session will introduce participants at the New Mexico Public Education Department 2022 Spring Virtual Directors Meeting to two tandem resources: the Promising Practices to Support English Learner Students and the accompanying guide Using Promising Practices to Support English Learner Students: A Continuous Improvement Approach. Participants will learn how to use these documents to support English learner students.

Who will benefit: Bilingual and multicultural education program directors in New Mexico will benefit from the materials presented at this session.
