Description: From 2017 to 2021, the Regional Education Laboratory (REL) Midwest convened an alliance with the goal of improving teacher preparation, recruitment, and retention within the state of Michigan and beyond. This session will provide a look at the research and resources that REL Midwest generated in this realm, including reports, videos, documentaries, strategic planning resources, and more. These resources can help inform rural educators' efforts to better understand and act upon the issues they face as they struggle to fill teacher vacancies.
