This REL Southwest breakout session will engage participants in a guided walk-through of two tandem resources to support English learner students: Promising Practices to Support English Learner Students and the accompanying guide Using Promising Practices to Support English Learner Students: A Continuous Improvement Approach. The session takes place at the Spring 2022 Curriculum & Instruction Directors convening, hosted by the New Mexico Public Education Department Curriculum and Instruction Division. This virtual convening runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time and includes sessions focused on strategies, resources, and tools to support high-quality instruction for all students.
