About NCER and NCSER
The National Center for Education Research (NCER) supports rigorous research that helps solve significant education problems in our country. The National Center for Special Education Research (NCSER) sponsors a comprehensive program of special education research designed to deepen our understanding of the conditions that improve developmental and educational outcomes for learners with or at risk for disabilities.
Meeting Co-Chairs
For the second year in a row, IES has enlisted three Principal Investigators with projects funded under the National Center for Education Research, the National Center for Special Education Research, and the Small Business Innovation Research program to help refine and implement this year’s meeting vision and structure. The 2016 PI Meeting Co-Chairs - Roberta Golinkoff (University of Delaware), Kathleen Lane (University of Kansas), and Grace Wardhana (Kiko Labs) - have channeled their passion for research and dissemination to help select the theme, plan sessions, and identify speakers for this meeting. Their insights and feedback have been invaluable in helping IES plan an engaging, informative, and effective meeting. We are grateful for their contribution.
