1.5 Million Homeschooled Students in the United States in 2007 (NCES 2009-030)

This brief uses data from the 2007 National Household Education Surveys Program (NHES) to estimate the number of homeschooled students in the United States in 2007 (about 1.5 million), and to present reasons parents decide to homeschool their children.
