This first look report presents findings from "Dropout Prevention Services and Programs in Public School Districts: 2010–11", a survey that was designed to provide national estimates on dropout prevention services and programs in public school districts, including whether the district offered various services or programs specifically to address the needs of students at risk of dropping out of school, the use of mentors for at-risk students, and the extent to which various factors were used to identify students at risk of dropping out.
