About this event

Policymakers, researchers, and the public have long voiced concerns about the equitable distribution of school funding within and across school districts. As a result, high demand exists for school-level finance data to allow for comparison of how resources are distributed among schools within local districts. In response to this need, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) piloted a new collection of finance data at the school level – the School-Level Finance Survey (SLFS).
