Indicators of School Crime and Safety, 2006 (NCES 2007-003)

This is an annual report that is jointly prepared and released by the National Center for Education Statistics and Bureau of Justice Statistics. It examines crime occurring in school as well as on the way to and from school. This report presents data on crime from the perspectives of students, teachers, and principals from an array of sources--the National Crime Victimization Survey, the School Crime Supplement to the National Crime Victimization Survey, the Youth Risk Behavior Survey, the School Survey on Crime and Safety and the Schools and Staffing Survey.
