About this event
This report is based on a research and development study that applied a methodology described in earlier reports for measuring state inclusion rates while taking into account the differing demographics and inclusion policies in each state. This report, using inclusion information from the National Assessment of Educational Progress in 4th- and 8th-grade reading and mathematics, provides an update on the status of inclusion in 2009 and change in inclusion from 2007. In addition, the trends in states' inclusion practices regarding students with disabilities across years (between 2009 and 2007, 2007 and 2005, 2009 and 2005) are indicated in the report.
