About this event

Inclusion rates of students with special needs on the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) vary across the states over time and by both grades and subjects. The National Center for Education Statistics conducted a Research and Development (R&D) study in response to findings of a Government Accountability Office (GAO) report on inclusion of students with disabilities in large-scale assessments. The study fulfills the requirements of a specific "action item" in the GAO report.
