The Nations Report Card: Mathematics 2007, Performance in Puerto Rico: Focus on the Content Areas (NCES 2009-451)

This report contains an in-depth analysis of students' performance in the five mathematics content areas assessed in 2007 for Puerto Rico: 1) number properties and operations; 2) measurement; 3) geometry; 4) data analysis and probability; and 5) algebra. The results are reported in terms of average question scores of 4th- and 8th-grade students for each content area. These average question scores are compared to those of public-school students in the nation. The Spanish version, entitled "Rendimiento en Puerto Rico: Enfoque en Las Areas de Contenido" (NCES 2009-452), is also scheduled to be released on this day.
