The Nation's Report Card: Trial Urban District Assessment Reading 2007 (NCES 2008-455)

Eleven urban districts, Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Charlotte-Mecklenburg, Chicago, Cleveland, District of Columbia, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City and San Diego, participated in the fourth Trial Urban District Assessment in Reading and Math (results are reported separately for each subject): Results for the District of Columbia were previously reported in the 2007 Nation's Report Card. Results are reported in terms of scale score averages and achievement level percentages for 2007, 2005, 2003, and 2002. Comparisons are made between the 11 urban districts, the nation, and large central cities.
