Parents' Reports of the School Readiness of Young Children from the National Household Education Surveys Program of 2007 First Look (NCES 2008-051)

This report presents initial findings from the School Readiness Survey of the National Household Education Surveys Program (NHES). The NHES data were collected from January to May of 2007 through interviews with parents of children ages 3 to 6 who had not yet entered kindergarten.
