State of Preschool 2013: First Look (NCES 2014-078)

This brief report presents data about state supported preschool enrollment and funding to support enrollment. The report presents the data at the state and national levels for the 2012-13 school year. Enrollment information is shown overall and separately for 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds. Information about funding is shown for state provided support and then by support from all sources. This is the first release of data from the State of Preschool 2013 data collection. This report is intended to introduce new survey data and to show readers the kinds of data that are available for more in-depth analysis using more sophisticated statistical methods.
